The Sabine Index - Sam Houston Vines

  9 Jun 1961 - Last rites for Sam Houston Vines, age 66, who was
killed in a car accident June 4 were conducted at Beulah Baptist
church at 11 a.m. June 6, with Rev. Frederick Tate and Rev. Billy
Jackson officiating. Interment was under the direction of Warren
Funeral Home.

  Survivors are sons, Ben Bennon, Oscar, Bobby Ray, Donald Dees
all of Many, daughter, Mrs. Mary Alice Moffett of Shreveport,
brother, Fred Vines of Zwolle, sister, Mrs. Lucille Wallace of
New Iberia, 2 grandchildren.
