Bobby Moore, and the Rev. Jerry Schmucker officiating. Burial followed in the Cassell Cemetery, under the direction of Drewett Funeral Home of Mansfield. Mr. Vines died Wednesday, Aug. 24, 1983, in a Shreveport hospital, after a brief illness. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Selena E. Vines; one step son, Gerald Ezernack of Converse; three brothers, Kit Vines of Center, Texas, Huey Vines of Fayetteville, N. C., and Custer Vines of Marble Falls, Texas; four sisters, Ester Dorvin of Portland, Mich., Oma Dewire of San Augustine, Texas, Rosa Torres of LaPlace, La., and Emma Bell of Burnette, Texas; and two grandchildren, Connie Ezernack, and Joey Ezernack. Sheriff Alfice Brumley personally escorted the family from the church to the cemetery.
