Joy S. Vines

  Services for Mrs. Joy S. Vines, 72, of Shreveport, were held at
10 a.m., Monday, January 23, at Rose-Neath's Marshall St. Chapel.
The Rev. Crawford Williams, pastor of Ingleside Baptist Church,
officiated. Burial was in Cassel Cemetery, Converse, La.
Graveside services were at 2 p.m.

  Mrs. Vines died at 12 a.m., Saturday, January 21, 1984, at her
residence, after a sudden illness. Mrs. Vines, a native of Noble,
La., and resident of Shreveport for the past 30 years, was a
member of Ingleside Baptist Church.

  Survivors include one son, Wayman F. Vines; one daughter, Mrs.
Jeanette Wiley, both of Shreveport; one grandchild; and several
nieces and nephews.
