George Lee Vines

  Funeral services for Mr. George Lee Vines, 90, were held at 2
p.m., Tuesday, August 28, at Warren Meadows Chapel. Interment
followed at Sardis Cemetery, under the direction of Warren
Meadows Funeral Home. Rev. Walker Ledford, and Rev. Wyatt C.
Dawkins officiated.

  Mr. Vines died Sunday, August 26, at Sabine Medical Center in
Many.

  He is survived by three sons, Odies Vines of Amite, Bufford
Vines of Shreveport, Glyn Vines of Zwolle; one stepson, Jack
Anderson of Zwolle; two brothers, Vernon Vines, and Homer Vines,
both of Noble; fourteen grandchildren; numerous great
grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

  Mr. Vines was the oldest son of eleven children, with two
surviving brothers.
