Bill Birdwell, brother-in-law of Mark, gave the eulogy. He spoke of the many precious memories of their relationship over the past 20 years. Mark was buried in the Oaklawn Cemetery in Mabank, Texas. He leaves to mourn, Donna Leigh Teal Vance, wife; Greg Teal, brother-in-law; Sarah and Edwin Teal, mother and father-in-law; Janice and Bennett Dyce, parents, of Mabank, Texas; Carmella Birdwell, sister, Lewisville, Texas; and three brothers, Oren Vance, USN, Byron Vance, both of San Diego, California, Frank Vance Jr., Irving, Texas. Mark was employed at Heritage Manor Nursing Home #1 in Many. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. He was very sensitive to people's needs, always thinking of others. He was kind, gentle, and a lovable young man. Mark will be greatly missed by his family, co-workers, residents, and many friends.
