All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Ralph Vines (Photo) Funeral services for Ralph Vines of Many, were held Sunday, Oct. 15, at 2 p.m., at the Warren Meadows Funeral Chapel. Officiating at the services were the Rev. E. E. Walker, the Rev. Mike Henderson, and the Rev. J. P. King. Burial followed at the Little Flock Cemetery, under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Sonny Miller, Huey Woodel, Thomas Lightfoot, Bobby Smith, Harry Walker, and Don Terral. Honorary pallbearers were his seven grandsons, Keith Tate, Tracy Vines, Craig Causey, Shane Tate, Brad Vines, Clint Causey, and Ryan Vines. Mr. Vines died Thursday, Oct. 12, at Sabine Medical Center. He was 83. Survivors include his widow, Ester Vines of Many; one son, Kirk Vines of Negreet; two daughters, Nell Turner of Many, and Helen Elaine Formichella of Orlando, Fla.; two brothers, Ferman Vines of Florien, and Robert Vines of Lake Charles; 11 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. Mr. Vines was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Florien for 55 years, and was also a member of the Royal Arch of Many. He was a retired building contractor.
