Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Feb. 9, at First Baptist Church of Noble, with interment following at Noble Cemetery. The Rev. Jimmy Price officiated. Mr. Vines was a retired school bus driver from the Sabine Parish School Board. Survivors include his widow, Mildred Vines of Noble; two sons, Curtis Vines and wife Kathern of Noble, and Jerry Vines and wife Barbara of Abbeville; one daughter, Shirley Ebarb and husband Joe of Noble; a special niece, Rachel Ray and husband Frank of Little Rock, Ark.; eight grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Timothy W. Vines, Jeffery P. Vines, Teddy Vines, Coy J. Durke, Michael S. Berg, and Thomas Patrick Malmay.
