Mr. Vernon Vines

  Mr. Vernon Vines, 86, died Saturday, Feb. 6, in Noble.

  Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Feb. 9, at First
Baptist Church of Noble, with interment following at Noble
Cemetery. The Rev. Jimmy Price officiated.

  Mr. Vines was a retired school bus driver from the Sabine Parish
School Board.

  Survivors include his widow, Mildred Vines of Noble; two sons,
Curtis Vines and wife Kathern of Noble, and Jerry Vines and wife
Barbara of Abbeville; one daughter, Shirley Ebarb and husband Joe
of Noble; a special niece, Rachel Ray and husband Frank of Little
Rock, Ark.; eight grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and a
host of nieces and nephews.

  Pallbearers were Timothy W. Vines, Jeffery P. Vines, Teddy
Vines, Coy J. Durke, Michael S. Berg, and Thomas Patrick Malmay.
Honorary pallbearers were Harold Welch, Jimmy Paul Rivers, Paul
Maxey, Daniel Procell, Louis Ray Craig, and Glen Ebarb.
