Roy Lee Vines

  Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, May 16, at the San
Patricio Baptist Church, for Roy Lee Vines, 56, of Noble, who
died Monday, May 15, in the Veterans Hospital in Alexandria,
after a short illness. Conducting the services was the Rev. C. C.
Pierce. Burial was in the Cassel Cemetery, under the direction of
Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many.

  Pallbearers were Mark Vines, L. B. Springer, Ted Adair, Garland
Vines, Morris Adair, and Huey Wayne Crawford.

  Survivors include three brothers, Ray of Hawthorne, Calif., J.
R. of Lafayette, and La-Waymen of Laurel, Miss.; his stepmother,
Mrs. Vinia Vines of Noble; and a sister, Mrs. Winnie Sanderson of
Converse.
