Charles Loyd Van Ness

  Funeral services for Charles Van Ness, 29, who died Sept. 19,
after a long illness at his home in Shreveport, were held Sept.
20, at the Pisgah Baptist Church, with the Rev. J. M. Cason, and
the Rev. Truitt Alford officiating.

  A resident of Shreveport for nine years, he was a native of
Marthaville.

  Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Sue Van Ness; two sons, Michael
Glenn, and Charles Wayne; his mother, Mrs. Kate Van Ness; and one
brother, Harold K. Van Ness, all of Shreveport.

  Pallbearers were W. M. Rogers, E. C. Weems, J. R. McCoy, Earl ?
Gilray, O. D. Dude, and G. W. Speed.

  Burial was in Pisgah Cemetery, under the direction of Rose-Neath
Funeral Home.
