Sam D. Vines

  Funeral services for Sam D. Vines, age 62, who passed away Aug.
30, was conducted at San Patricio Baptist Church at 10 a.m.,
Sept. 1, with Rev. C. C. Pierce officiating. Interment was in
Cassel Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Funeral Home.

  Survivors are two brothers, Preston, and John R. Vines, both of
Noble; three sisters, Mrs. Eddie Thames of Noble, Mrs. Celeste
Adair of Bayou Scie, and Mrs. Mattie Dupree of Alexandria; and a
host of nieces and nephews.
