Asa Vines

  Last rites for Asa Vines, age 68, who died Sept. 22, were
conducted at Zwolle First Baptist Church at 2 p.m., Sept. 23,
with Rev. M. L. Boland, and Rev. Walter Ledford officiating.
Interment was in Zwolle Cemetery, under the direction of Warren
Funeral Home, with Masonic rites at the graveside.

  Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Myrtis Vines of Zwolle; one
son, Edward Asa Vines of Zwolle; two daughters, Mrs. J. L.
Woodward, and Mrs. Clara Bryant, both of Zwolle; one brother, Dr.
E. E. Vines of Florien; sisters, Mrs. J. T. Rainer of Shreveport,
Mrs. Bell Dailey of Texarkana, Tex., Mrs. Isom Ramsey of Lake
Charles; eight grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
