Monsignor N. F. Vandegaer of Monroe was the celebrant of the requiem high mass. Father John C. Vandegaer of Lake Providence gave the sermon. Father J. A. Benoit officiated in the funeral rites. Interment was in the Catholic cemetery, Massingill funeral home in charge. Pallbearers were: O. E. William, J. J. Blake, W. R. Robinson, C. J. Hubley, Wm. H. Ponder and J. M. Belisle. Surviving are two sisters, Miss Eula Vandegaer and Mrs. Mary Vandegaer Scott, both of Houston, Texas. Miss Vandegaer passed away at Houston, Texas Sunday after a long illness. She was the youngest daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Leo Vandegaer and an niece of W. H. Vandegaer of Many.
