Survivors include a sister, Sister Clotilde Vandegaer DC of Emmitsburg, Maryland; a niece, Mrs. Melford Rabalais of Baton Rouge; and two nephews, Dr. William C. Scott of Terre Haute, Indiana, and the Rev. Walter Scott CSB of Houston, Tex. A rosary was held on Thursday evening, at 7 p.m. Funeral services were held at the St. John Catholic Church on Friday, Dec. 30, at 10 a.m., with the Rev. Walter Scott officiating. Burial was in the St. John Cemetery, under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home.
