Morris D. Varnado

  Mr. Morris D. Varnado, 69, of Many, died Friday, July 3, at
11:25 a.m., at Fraser Hospital South in Many.

  Funeral services were held Saturday, July 4, at 4 p.m. The Rev.
Earl Marr, and the Rev. Brent Fleming officiated.

  Interment was held at the Friendship Cemetery.

  Mr. Varnado is survived by his widow, Mrs. Effie Varnado, also
of Many; a daughter, Mrs. Terrie Lee of Ruston; a granddaughter,
Patty Lewis of Arcadia; a grandson, Buddy Marsalis of Shreveport;
four great grandchildren; a brother, John Varnado of Many; a
sister, Mrs. Blanche Goodman of Many; and a number of nieces and
nephews.
