Rev. Jasper O. Webb

  The Rev. Jasper Odis Webb, 67, of Many, died in the Veteran's
Hospital in Alexandria on Tuesday, Aug. 8, at 4:30 p.m.,
following an extended illness.

  Survivors include one daughter, Mary N. Webb of Haughton; four
sons, Donald W. Webb of Haughton, Douglas L. Webb of Many, Ralph
D. Webb of Florien, and William H. Webb of Waskom, Tex.; one
sister, Alice Webb of Many; four brothers, Wesley Webb of Zwolle,
Mitchell Webb of Columbia, Ga., Hobert Webb of Lafayette, and
Leroy Webb of Beaumont, Tex.; 16 grandchildren; and five great
grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church on
Friday, Aug. 11, at 2 p.m. Officiating were the Rev. Truman
Leach, and the Rev. C. C. Leach.

  Burial was in the Mt. Zion Cemetery, under the direction of the
Warren Meadows Funeral Home.
