James W. Webb, Jr.

  Mr. James W. Webb, Jr., 67, of Belmont, died at Sabine Medical
Center in Many, on Oct. 19, 1987.

  Services were held at Union Baptist Church, at 2 p.m., on Oct.
21, 1987, with the Revs. J. P. King, Johnny Garrett, and Jimmy
Evans officiating. Burial was at Union Cemetery, under the
direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Survivors include his wife, Thelma Webb of Belmont; one son,
Jimmy Webb of Houston, Tex.; one daughter, Cindy Webb Hames of
Houston, Tex.; one sister, Linda Chapman of Shreveport; one
brother, Joel Webb of Belmont; two grandchildren; and a host of
nieces, nephews, and friends.

  Pallbearers included Zane Salter, R. L. Cleveland, Steve
Stephens, Joe Salter, Billy Maxie, and James Hendrickson.

  Honorary pallbearers were C. W. Creech. Joe Rosette, Crawford
Garrett, Roy Walters, and Ralph Richmond.
