Weeks Mrs. Edna Marie Weeks, 66, of Tioga, died Thursday night, March 18, in a Shreveport Hospital. A native of Fisher, Mrs. weeks was wife of the Rev. C. G. Weeks, Louisiana District Superintendent of the United Pentecostal Church. Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Wanda Phillips of Austin, Tex.; two brothers, Joseph Lee Farrow of Baton Rouge, and W. E. Farrow of Minden; and two grandchildren. Funeral services were held Saturday, March 20, at 1 p.m., in the First United Pentecostal Church of Tioga. Ministers officiating were the Rev. S. W. Chambers, the Rev. J. R. Weidner, the Rev. N. A. Ushan, the Rev. James L. Kilgore, the Rev. J. T. Pugh, the Rev. Arlen Guidroz, the Rev. T. F. Tenney, the Rev. G. A. Mangun, the Rev. W. T. Barnes, and the Rev. Kenneth Phillips. A second service was conduced at the Walnut Hill Pentecostal Church near Slagle, Burial was in the Walnut Hill Cemetery, under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Milton Jerreau, the Rev. C. D. Bates, the Rev. Brian Chelette, the Rev. E. W. Law, the Rev. James Glass, and the Rev. Anthony Mangun. Honorary pallbearers were members of the church's District Board, Gene Simpkins, M. K. James, E. W. Reeves, T. D. Cardwell, William C. Jackson, Wilbern Ashworth, G. A. Mangun, B. L. White, G. E. Chance, J. T. Miller, L. J. McDaniel, and J. A. Hawthorne. All memorial contributions are to be made to the Marie Weeks Memorial Fund to be used at the Tupelo Childrens' Mansion in Tupelo, Miss.
