Attassie S. Weeks

  Attassie Sample Weeks, 74, of Marthaville, died Saturday, March
1, at her residence, after a sudden illness.

  Services were at 2 p.m., Monday, March 3, in Blanchard-St. Denis
Funeral Home in Natchitoches, with the Rev. Perry Green, and the
Rev. H. H. Crenwelge officiating. Burial followed in Rocky Mount
Cemetery near Robeline.

  Survivors include her husband, O. W. Weeks; four sons, James
Nelson, and B. J. Weeks, both of Broadus, Texas, B. L. Weeks of
Lufkin, Texas, and B. R. Weeks of Brazil; a daughter, Odell James
of Beaumont, Texas; three sisters, Nennie Brown of Joaquin,
Texas, Atta Atkins of Lufkin, Texas, and Mae Green of Tucson,
Ariz.; 25 grandchildren; and 22 great grandchildren.
