Wise, 71, of Plain Dealing, were held at 10 a.m., Thursday, July 21, at the Walker's Chapel United Methodist Church, where he was a member. The Rev. Bob Lawton officiated, assisted by the Rev. C. M. Krumnow. Burial was at Salem Cemetery near Plain Dealing. He died suddenly, Tuesday, July 19, 1983, at his residence. Mr. Wise, a native of Songaloo, and a resident of Plain Dealing (Walker's Chapel), for 59 years, was a retired employee of the Bossier School Board, after 20 years of services. He is survived by his wife, Lucille Matlock Wise of Plain Dealing; two daughters, Sue Lynn of Bossier City, and Mary Byrd of Haughton, La.; one brother, Foy Shadden of Bossier City; two sisters, Eva Lee Bridges of Pleasant Hill, La., and Zelma Collins of Anchorage, Alaska; five grandchildren.
