Mr. Jimmy Carlton Wise

  Mr. Jimmy Carlton Wise, 58, of Pleasant Hill, died Thursday,
Feb. 18, 1998, in Mansfield.

  Mr. Wise had retired from oil production.

  Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 21, at
First United Methodist Church of Pleasant Hill, with interment
following at Spring Ridge. The Rev. Carl Munyon, pastor of First
United Methodist Church of Pleasant Hill, officiated.

  Survivors include his widow, Callie Wise of Pleasant Hill; four
sons, Tommy Wise and wife Kitty of Weatherford, Texas, Jody Free
and wife Nicole of Phoenix City, Ala., Joseph Free and wife
Angela, and Justin Free, all of Pleasant Hill; one daughter, Dawn
Wise of St. Petersburg, Fla.; three sisters, Robbie Gaddis and
husband Clyde of Pleasant Hill, Patsy Lambert and husband Jerry
of Robeline, and Jo Ann Maroney of Belmont; two grandchildren,
Christian Free, and Alexis Free, and also expecting a third
grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Wise was preceded
in death by his father, Arthur Wise; and sister, Debbie Ruth
Salley.
