Weeks of Shreveport, died Saturday, Dec. 13, in Shreveport, after a short illness. Funeral services for Mr. Weeks, 59, were held at 1 p.m., Monday, at Osborn Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating was the Rev. W. T. Furr, pastor of the Queensborough Baptist Church, Dr. Ida Peak, pastor of the Lakeshore Baptist Church, and the Rev. J. R. Weidner, pastor of the United Pentecostal Church in Tioga. Burial was in the Forest Park West Cemetery. Pallbearers were Jake Dorman, J. C. Lauderback, F. O. Weeks, Jake Muse, Homer Partin, and Harold Johnson. Survivors include his widow; two sons, Max Weeks of Shreveport, and Capt. James Larry Weeks, who is stationed with the Army at Pottstown, Pa.; two brothers, the Rev. Garland Weeks of Tioga, and C. H. Weeks Jr. of Bridge City, Tex.; a sister, Mrs. Floyd Rudesill of Portland, Ore.; and two grandchildren.
