The Sabine Index - Mrs. Ben D. West

  5 Aug 1949 - Mrs. Ben D. West died at Leesville hospital on
June 4, after seven days of illness. Funeral services were
conducted at Plainview June 5. Rev. E. E. Fields, pastor of First
Baptist church of Leesville, officiated, assisted by rev. R.
Graham, pastor of Plainview Baptist church.

  Pallbearers were: Rick Hampton, J. C. Leach, John Craft, Alvin
Simmons, Alfred Craft and Norris Craft. She was born July 4,
1931. She leaves to mourn her great loss her husband, Ben D.
West; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. S. Branch; two sisters, a brother
and many other relatives and friends. She always had a smile and
was loved by all who knew her. She will be sadly missed here on
earth, but our loss is heaven's gain.
