  Debs West

  Debs "Shorty" West, 63, of Bossier City, died Tuesday a Midway
Manor Nursing Home after a long illness.

  Mr. West was born in Barham, and had lived in Bossier City since
1942. He was a member of Airline Baptist Church.

  Survivors include his wife, Ettie, of Bossier City; his
stepmother, Mrs. Jane West, of Florien; a son, Larry Anderson of
Brentwood, Calif.; three daughters, Mrs. J. R. Patterson of
Miami, Fla., Mrs. Tom Robertson of Memphis, Tenn., and Mrs.
Richard Griffith of Miami, Fla.; five sisters, Mrs. Inez Dowden
of Hornbeck, Mrs. T. J. Davis of Highlands, Tex.; Mrs. A. V.
Bardwell of Shreveport, Mrs. Ance Elzie of Florien, and Mrs.
Elmira Kennon of Sacramento, Calif.; two brothers, Charlie Jett
of Florien and M. C. West of Hornbeck; and seven grandchildren.
