Funeral services were held Sunday at 2 p.m., in the Prospect Methodist Church, with the Rev. S. Alvin Mayo officiating. Burial was in the Prospect Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many. Masonic Rites were held at the graveside. Mr. Westbrook was a member of Florien Masonic Lodge No. 263; Robeline Chapter Royal Arch Mason; Fullerton council No. 26 of Leesville; Rhodes Commandery No. 17 of Leesville; El Karubah Temple of Shreveport, and Mt. Carmel Chapter No. 3. He was presented a 50 year pin and certificate as Master Mason in November. Survivors include four sons, Marlin J. Westbrook of Jonesboro, Darrel Westbrook of Shreveport, James Westbrook of Seabrook, Tex., and Wyatt Westbrook of Valiant, Okla.; six brothers, Joe Westbrook of Hornbeck, Steve Westbrook of Many, Rev. V. L. Westbrook of Ruston, Ray Westbrook of Bernice, David Westbrook of Pineville, Oregon, and Nathan Westbrook of Natchitoches; two sisters, Mrs. Exie Snell of Houston, and Mrs. Era Funderburk of Douglasville; seven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Gerald Jordan, Sidney Lucius, Glenn Goss, J. T. Davis, Leon Jordan, Luther Sandel, Wallace Lewing, Howard Anthony.
