Westbrook Funeral services for Mrs. Mildred E. Westbrook, 62, of Jonesboro, were held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, July 1, 1986, in the Buck Edmonds Memorial Chapel in Jonesboro. At 3 p.m., Tuesday afternoon, services were held in the Prospect United Methodist Church in Florien. Rev. John B. Koelemay, and Rev. Sharon Howell officiated at both services. Burial was in the Prospect Cemetery in Florien, under the direction of Edmonds Funeral Home of Jonesboro. Mrs. Westbrook died Saturday, June 28, in the Jackson Parish Hospital, after a brief illness. She was a native of Sequin, Texas, and was a retired clerk secretary. Survivors include her husband, Marlin J. Westbrook of Jonesboro; one son, Gary Lee Harrel of Many; one sister, Hazel Kirchoff of Houston, Tex.; two brothers, Gus Howell of Lafayette, and Joe Howell of Arp, Tex. Pallbearers were Mack Walker, Raymond Taylor, Ricky Maxwell, Reed Stinson, Russ Wink, Ted Howell, and Buck Hathaway.
