Westbrook, 90, were held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, January 23, at the Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating were Rev. Abe Conerly, and Rev. Conrad Edwards. Burial took place in Prospect Cemetery in Florien, with Masonic graveside services. Mr. Westbrook died Monday, January 21, at Natchitoches Parish Hospital Longterm Care Unit. He was a native of Florien, a retired grocery store owner in Bernice, La., and worked for the Rock Island Railroad for 23 years. Mr. Westbrook was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Natchitoches, the Phoenix Masonic Lodge F&AM #38 in Natchitoches, and the Scottish Rite Shrine Temple of Alexandria. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy B. Westbrook of Natchitoches; one son, Daniel Paul Westbrook of Paragould, Ark.; two sisters, Exie Snell of Natchitoches, and Era Funderburk of Oakwood, Texas; one brother, Nathan J. Westbrook of Natchitoches; and one grandchild, Daniel Paul Westbrook Jr.
