Loyd Ellis Westfall

  Services for Mr. Loyd Westfall, 79, of Florien, were held at 10
a.m., Wednesday, May 12, 1993, at Peason Pentecostal Church.
Officiating was Rev. Roy Thompson, and Rev. Ron Wilson. Burial
was held in Florien Cemetery, under the direction of Warren
Meadows Funeral Home.

  Mr. Westfall died Sunday, May 9, 1993, at his residence in
Florien.

  He is survived by his wife, Rachel Westfall of Florien; five
sons, Lavon Westfall of Lumberton, Tex., Jerry Westfall of
Humble, Tex., Richard Westfall of Houston, Tex., and Paul
Westfall of Katy, Tex.; three daughters, Bobbie Ferguson of
Lumberton, Tex., Jamie Wilson of Houston, Tex., and Betty Byrd of
Humble, Tex.; two sisters, Opel Cook of Florien, and Oudia Hilton
of Leesville; one brother, Otis Westfall of Florien; thirteen
grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; and a host of nieces
and nephews.

  He is preceded in death by his wife, Yovada Westfall; and one
son, Kenneth (Nick) Westfall.

  Pallbearers were Kendall Westfall, Bryan Westfall, Garry
Westfall, Terry Westfall, Ricky Byrd, Mike Wilson, Keith Wilson,
and Robert Dewayne Ferguson.
