Marlin Joseph Westbrook

  Marlin Joseph Westbrook, 81, of Jonesboro, died June 9, 2002, at
Lincoln General Hospital.

  Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., June 11, at Jonesboro
United Methodist Church, with interment following at Prospect
United Methodist Cemetery in Florien. The Rev. Wayne Howington,
and the Rev. Gene Cumpton officiated.

  Survivors include son, Gary Lee Harrel of Alexandria; brother,
Darrell Roland Westbrook of Shreveport; friend, Inen Griffith of
Jonesboro.

  Mr. Westbrook was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Howell
Harrel Westbrook; and two brothers, James Clark Westbrook, and
Wyatt Jerald Westbrook.

  Pallbearers were David Andrews, Randy Capers, Lawrence Wells, B.
F. Westbrook, Chris Westbrook, Jeffrey Westbrook and Lynn
Westbrook. Honorary pallbearers were Friendly Knights Sunday
School Class of the Jonesboro United Methodist Church.
