Polk Monday, May 10, at 3 a.m., after a short illness. Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 12, at 10 a.m., in the Many First Baptist Church, with the Rev. Perry Lassiter officiating. Interment was in the Many Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Mr. Washer is survived by his wife, Mrs. Clara Washer of Many; two sons, Gerald Washer of Altus AFB, Okla., and Raymond Washer of Many; two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Firesheets, and Miss Wanda Washer of Many; two sisters, Mrs. Virginia Sims of Whitney, Tex., and Mrs. Hattie Broadus of Bossier City; and five grandchildren. Military rites were held at the graveside.
