Officiating was Capt. Charles N. Davidson. Mrs. Washer entered into rest Monday, May 20, at Bossier Medical Center, after a brief illness. She was a native of Many, and lived in Bossier City since 1973. Mrs. Washer was a very loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was retired from Schumpert Medical Center, and worked many years for Heritage Manor Nursing Home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer (Buddy) Washer; and a son, James R. Washer. She is survived by two daughters, Wanda G. Washer of Shreveport, Dorothy Firesheets of Euless, Tex.; two sons, Arthur G. Washer and wife Helen of Haughton, and Raymond A. Washer and wife Lou of Staunton, Va.; ten grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
