The Sabine Index - Dr. C. C. Wood

13 Nov 1936 - Dr. C. C. Wood, age 55, died at 9:30 o'clock
Wednesday night at Highland sanitarium at Shreveport.  Deceased
suffered from a severe attack of influenza.

Dr. Wood had practiced his profession of dentistry in Sabine
parish at Zwolle and Many for a number of years.

Deceased was a member of the Methodist church, was an active
member of the Masonic lodge, being a 32nd degree Mason an
Shriner.  At the time of his death he was district deputy
grand master of the Grand Lodge of this state for the 23rd
district, which office he had held for a number of years, and
was worshipful master of Zwolle Lodge No. 302 at Zwolle, which
office he had held for the past 22 years.

Funeral services will be held at Many Friday afternoon.

Deceased is survived by his widow and one son, C. C. Wood, Jr.,
an attorney in Shreveport, also two brothers and two sisters.
