Wyatt, Sr. Hugh McKenneth Wyatt Sr., 66, of Shreveport, died at 7:50 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 8, at P&S Hospital, after a long illness. He was a native of Marthaville, and had lived in Shreveport for 40 years. A retired electrical engineer for Atlas Processing Co., he was a member of Keithville Masonic Lodge, and Southland Baptist Church. Mr. Wyatt was a deacon, and a licensed minister. Funeral services were at 2:30 p.m., Monday, Feb. 10, in the Old Pisgah Baptist Church, Marthaville, with the Rev. Jim Milam, pastor of Southland Baptist Church, and the Rev. Byron Ray, former pastor, officiating. Burial was in Old Pisgah Cemetery near Marthaville, under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home's Marshall Street Chapel. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Effie Wyatt; three sons, Bobby Gene Wyatt, James H. Wyatt, and Hugh M. Wyatt Jr., all of Shreveport; two daughters, Mrs. Ann Humphrey, and Mrs. Barbara Clayton, both of Shreveport; two sisters, Mrs. Illa Mae Cobbs, and Mrs. Kate Van Ness, both of Shreveport; two brothers, Clyde Wyatt of Marthaville, and Arbie Wyatt of Shreveport; and seven grandchildren.
