(Johnnie) Wyatt, 59, 2601 Parham Drive, were held at 1 p.m., Monday, June 7, in the Rose-Neath Funeral Home Marshall Street Chapel, with the Rev. Dr. David Jenkins, pastor of Queensborough Baptist Church, officiating. Burial was in the Old Pisgah Cemetery near Marthaville. A native of Marthaville, Mr. Wyatt lived in Shreveport 31 years. He died at 6:10 p.m., Saturday, June 5, in Schumpert Medical Center, following a lengthy illness. He was a member of Queensborough Baptist Church, Fair Park Lodge 436 F&AM, and Queensborough Chapter 97, Royal Arch Masons. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Jane Wyatt of Shreveport; his mother, Mrs. Hallie Wyatt of Marthaville; two sisters, Mrs. Truly Mitchell of Natchitoches, and Mrs. T. J. Wyatt of Shreveport; and two brothers, Melvin Wyatt of Shreveport, and Morris Wyatt of Marthaville. Pallbearers were Bobby L. Gorman, Lawrence B. Oglesby, Clyde Stallcup, Lewis C. Fisher, R. L. J. Linco, Marce Chatelain, O. A. Warren, and Joe Reeves. The family requests that any memorials be made to Queensborough Baptist Church, or to a charity of the donor's choice.
