The funeral was at 3 p.m., in Logan Assembly of God Church in Logan, Texas, on Thursday, with the Rev. ? Baker, and the Rev. Clive Ninley officiating. Burial was in Adams Cemetery in Logan. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Virgie Mae Wyatt; four daughters, Alice Wyatt of Pasadena, Texas, Mary Thrasher, and Martha Adcock, both of McAlester, Okla., and Effie Garrett of Kountze, Texas; three sons, Chester Ray Wyatt of Humble, Texas, A. B. Goodman of Gilmer, Texas, and Gary Goodman of Houston; four sisters, Effie Smitherman of Longstreet, La., Mrs. Abner Stanley of Port Arthur, Texas, Betty Burgess of Carthage, and Mary Wyatt of Lufkin, Texas; two brothers, R. A. Smitherman Jr. of Logansport, La., and Sisrow Smitherman of Longstreet; 24 grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.
