Wyatt Funeral services were held at 1 p.m., Sunday, March 9, in the Southside Chapel of Rose-Neath Funeral Home, for Michael Wayne Wyatt, 23, of Waskom, Texas. Mr. Wyatt died Thursday night, March 6, from injuries suffered in an automobile accident on I-20. Officiating at the services were the Rev. S. H. Andrews, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Waskom, and the Rev. T. C. Burley, a retired Baptist Minister. Burial was in Old Pisgah Cemetery at Marthaville. A native of Marthaville, Mr. Wyatt has resided in Waskom for 12 years, He was a maintenance man with Fabsteel in Waskom. He is survived by his widow, Gail Wyatt of Waskom; his father, Clinton O. Wyatt of Waskom; his mother, Gracie S. DeSoto of Many; one son, Michael Wayne Wyatt II of Waskom; his paternal grandmother, Bertie Wyatt of Shreveport; his maternal grandmother, Mable Tibbitt of Robeline; two sisters, Cathy Young of Blanchard, Martha M. Wyatt of Many; three brothers, Wendall O. Wyatt, and Robert R. Wyatt of Waskom, and Calvin O. Wyatt of Many. Pallbearers were Joe Head, Keith Alexander, Larry Clevenger, Prentiss Hay, Danny Bright, and Gerald Wallace.
