The Rev. Floyd Lisen officiated, assisted by Elder David Turner. Burial was in the Mt. Olive Cemetery near Bienville, under the direction of the Rose-Neath Funeral Home of Minden. Mrs. White died at 3:30 a.m., Friday, Nov. 28, at Minden Medical Center, following a brief illness. She was a native of Pollock, a retired school teacher, a member of AARP, the Eastern Star, Retired Teachers Association, and a Baptist. Mrs. White is survived by two sons, Edward H. White, Claude F. White, Jr., both of Heflin; two daughters, Mrs. Lady Jane Patton, Zwolle, Mrs. Drucilla Reeves, El Dorado, Ark.; three sisters, Mrs. Belle Thornhill, W. Monroe, Mrs. Jane Anderson, Shreveport, Miss Ida Coulson, Marshall, Tex.; ten grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. Pallbearers were Don Thorpe, Paul Jones, Lloyd Beatty, Harold Beatty, Kenneth Beatty, Richard Noles, David Meshell, and Howard Robinson.
