Charlie James Wood

  Funeral services for Mr. Charlie James Wood of Many, were held
Friday, Feb. 24, at 10 a.m., in the Zion Hill Baptist church.
Bro. Keith Dowden officiated. Interment was in the Zion Hill
Cemetery. Services were under direction of Warren Meadows Funeral
Home of Many.

  Mr. Wood, 62, died Wednesday, Feb. 22, 1984, at 12:59 a.m., in
the Schumpert Medical Center in Shreveport.

  He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lurline Wood of Many; two sons,
William L. Wood, Abita Springs, La., and Lea T. Wood, Fort Worth,
Tex.; his mother, Ruby Heard Wood, Coushatta; one brother,
Clarence E. Wood, Coushatta; two sisters, Duley G. Brown,
Coushatta, and Hazel B. Durr, Wilcox, Arizona; and five
grandchildren.
