Mr. Wyatt is survived by his wife, Mrs. Maude Wyatt; a son, Victor Wyatt of Marthaville; a step-son, Jack Singeltary of Marthaville; his mother, Mrs. Hallie Wyatt of Marthaville; 3 brothers Marvin C. and Melvin Wyatt, both of Shreveport, and Maurice Wyatt of Marthaville; 3 sisters, Mrs. H. T. Mitchell, Natchitoches; Mrs. T. J. Wyatt, and Mrs. Leon Burns, both of Shreveport; and 4 grandchildren. Mr. Wyatt's body was taken to the Old Pisgah Baptist Church Monday evening, to lie in state until service time. Funeral services were conducted at the Old Pisgah Baptist Church on Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2 p.m. with the Rev. Willis Greer officiating. Burial was at the Old Pisgah Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Douglas Mitchell, Cecil Mitchell, Henry Burns, James A. Wyatt, Claude Wyatt, and Arvill Wyatt.
