The Rev. Johnny Tipton, pastor of Grawood Baptist Church, officiated, and was assisted by Rev. James Miller, pastor, Baptist Temple Church, Alexandria. Burial was in the Jewella Cemetery, Shreveport. Mr. White died at 7:57 a.m., Friday, November 22, at Highland Hospital, following a lengthy illness. He was born in Tunkhannock, Pa., and was a resident of Keithville for 25 years. Mr. White was a retired capper for Libby-Owens-Ford, and a member of Grawood Baptist Church, and a veteran of WWII Army Air Force. He is survived by his wife, Margie F. White of Keithville; one daughter, Linda Miller and husband Bill of Florien; two sons, Michael Charles White and wife Linda of Bossier City, and Randy White of Keithville; two sisters, Helen Lane and Evelyn Kristunas of Tunkhannock, Pa.; one brother, Donald White of Tunkhannock, Pa.; seven grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. Pallbearers were Jack Cotton, Bart Cotton, Ronnie Williams, J. R. Stephenson, David Tucker, and James Hufstetler. Honorary pallbearers were Dr. William S. Hunt, and Dr. Dean Griffin.
