Wyatt, 83, died at home, Oct. 20, 1993, after a lengthy illness. Funeral services were held Friday, Oct. 22, at 10:30 a.m., in Osborn Funeral Home Chapel in Shreveport. Burial followed at Forest Park West Cemetery in Shreveport. Mr. Wyatt was born June 24, 1910, in Marthaville, and resided in Shreveport 50 years. He was a member of Broadmoor United Methodist cChurch, and retired from Swift and Company, after 40 years of service. Mr. Wyatt was preceded in death by his parents, Rev. Wallace Wyatt, Mary K. Wyatt; and brother, Carl Wyatt, all of Marthaville. He is survived by his wife, Helen McDonald Lamb Wyatt; his son, Jerry K. Wyatt; and daughter, Carole Posey, all of Shreveport, along with two grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren. Pallbearers were Preston Steadman, Bob Stienmiller, Roy Posey, Donnie Wyatt, Ronnie Wyatt, and George Masters. Honorary pallbearers were S. R. Stewart, Sam Pool, J. R. Banks, and William Haynes. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the Schumpert Medical Center Hospice, Dr. William R. Giddens, and Dr. Thomas Smith, along with devoted neighbors, Thurman and Mary Russell, and Nancy Curry.
