Billy Louis White, 64, of Logansport, passed away June 25, 1994. Services were June 27, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Logansport, with interment at Chereene Cemetery in Stanley. Mr. White was the former pastor of Many United Pentecostal Church for many years. He was the first head of the Sabine Parish Civil Defense Agency. He started the Civil Defense Auxiliary Police Force. He served on the Many Police Department, and the Sabine Parish Sheriff's Department. Prior to his death, Mr. White was the Assistant Chief of Police in the town of Logansport. Survivors are his wife, Margaret Self White of Logansport; five sons, Billy C. White and wife Sandra of Many, Jim White and wife Debbie of Pineville, Stanley Manasco of Many, Charles Manasco of Many, and Stephen Manasco of Leesville; 17 grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. Pallbearers were the Logansport Police Department.
