Claude White

  Claude Franklin White Sr., 65, of Heflin, died Monday, April ?
in Schumpert Hospital, after a long illness.

  A resident of Heflin 28 years, Mr. White served the community as
the only town marshal since its incorporation. He was a member of
the First Baptist Church of Heflin, and the Sibley Lions Club.
Mr. White was employed by Woodard-Walker Sawmill Co. for more
than 20 years.

  Among the survivors are his widow; and daughter, Mrs. John A.
Patton of Zwolle.
