White suffered accidental death. Funeral services were conducted Saturday, June 3, at the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, with the Rev. H. H. Tibbitts officiating. Interment was in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many. He is survived by his wife, Laura White of Port Neches; four daughters, Roberta, June, Paula, and Dewetta White, all of Port Neches; one son, Dewey White, also of Port Neches; three brothers, Jewel White of Many, Ezra White of Lancaster, Calif., and Huey White of Fayetteville, N. C.; three sisters, Mrs. Peggy Anable of Saugus, Calif., Mrs. Rosalee Markey of Baton Rouge, and Mrs. Marjorie Jinkins of Lancaster, Calif.; and his mother, Mrs. Rosie White of Many. Pallbearers were James Ead, Gene Patterson, Gene Dyess, Carlos Young, Charlie Manning, and T. J. Perio.
