  Ray Elbert Wyatt, 67, of Marthaville, died Jan. 13, 2003, at
Natchitoches Parish Hospital.

  Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., Jan. 16, at First Baptist
Church of Marthaville, with interment following at Old Pisgah
Cemetery in Belmont. Bro. Bob Salley officiated.

  Survivors include his mother, Gertie Singletary; three
daughters, Malinda Mathews, Becky Somner, and Alicia Hoover;
three brothers, Jimmy Singletary, Ted Singletary, and Harold D.
Wyatt; sister, Carolyn Ashmore; five grandchildren; and a host of
nieces, nephews, and friends.

  He was preceded in death by his father, Henry Wyatt.

  Pallbearers were family members.

  Warren Meadows, Many, La.
