Jessie F. Woods Sr.

  Jessie Foster Woods, Sr., 77, of Mansfield, died Tuesday, March
21, at Pleasant Hill Hospital, following a brief illness.

  Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., in the New Hope Church,
with the Rev. W. O. Durham officiating. Burial was in the Spring
Ridge Cemetery, under the direction of the Rockett-Nettles
Funeral Home of Coushatta.

  Mr. Woods is survived by his wife; one son, Jessie Foster Woods,
Jr. of Ore City, Texas; seven daughters, Mary Sims, and Wanda
Martinez of Phoenix, Ariz., Catherine Hinds, and Vickie Cowley of
Mansfield, Juanita Sims of Pleasant Hill, Linda Montgomery of
Canby, Oregon, and Billie White of Arcadia; and 22 grandchildren.
