Polk Military Hospital in Ft. Polk, on Oct. 7, 1985, at 7:57 a.m. Services were held in the Warren Meadows Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, Oct. 9, at 2 p.m. Interment was in the Toledo Bend Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Rev. Gerald Nelson officiated the services. Pallbearers include Ray Noel, Bud Grand, Pete Dowden, Bob Webb, Jim Adkins, and Tommy Adkins. Survivors are his wife, Cherree Pee Woods of Many; three daughters, Terie Crowson of Houston, Sharline Price of West Monroe, and Pamela Jones of Ruston; four sisters, Clemmie Oxford of Dubach, Myrtis Luther, Ida Petty, and Mary Lee McCalman, all of Bossier City; three brothers, Delman Woods of Littleton, Col. O. A. Woods of Pecatonica, Ill., and Virgil Woods of Burleson, Tex.; three grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
