Mrs. Laura Woods

  Mrs. Laura Woods, 97, died at North Sabine Nursing Home, on May
28, 1989, at 6:30 p.m., after a lengthy illness.

  Services were held at First Baptist Church of Pleasant Hill, on
Wednesday, May 31, at 2 p.m., with Rev. Stephen Pyle officiating.
Burial was at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, under the direction of
Rose-Neath's Mansfield Chapel.

  Mrs. Woods was a retired restaurant owner and operator, and a
member of the First Baptist Church of Pleasant Hill.

  She is survived by one grandson, Glen Fallin; and several nieces
and nephews.

  Pallbearers included James Zane Walker, Sidney H. Jacobs, Odis
Hilliard, Lawrence Woods, E. E. Middleton, and W. O. Woods.
