Carnechia Cavette Woods

  Funeral services for Carnechia Cavette Woods, 19, were held
Saturday, August 27, at Bethel Baptist Church. Rev. Charles Raney
officiated.

  Burial was in New Jerusalem Cemetery, under the direction of
Thomas Mortuary.

  Miss Woods passed away Tuesday, August 23, at L.S.U. Medical
Center in Shreveport.

  A student at Many High School, she leaves to cherish her memory,
her father, Charles McClanahan; her mother, Myra Woods
McClanahan; three sisters, Kirstin, Le Shanta, and LaTonya
McClanahan. She is also survived by her grandmother, Mrs. Hazel
Woods; grandfather, Felton Cross; step grandfather, Jesse Wolf;
six uncles; seven aunts; a special friend, Robert C. Lilly III;
and a host of relatives and other friends.
