Mrs. Woods died Sunday, Dec. 12, after a long illness, in Heritage Manor in Shreveport. Survivors are four sons, Othal Woods of Pleasant Hill, Clifton, J. C., and D. C. Woods, all of Shreveport; four daughters, Mrs. Floyd Herring of Mansfield, Mrs. Claude Tobb of Shreveport, Mrs. Walter Carter of DeRidder, and Mrs. J. R. Reed of Pleasant Hill; three brothers, Frank Peacock of Jackson, Hershel Peacock of Pleasant Hill, and W. T. Peacock of Vivian; three half brothers, Rufus, Cranford, and A. G. Peacock of Mansfield; two half sisters, Mrs. Maude Ott, and Mrs. Annie Ott, both of Converse; 24 grandchildren; 41 great grandchildren; and 19 great-great grandchildren. Services were held in the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, with the Rev. J. C. Salley officiating. Burial was in the Springridge Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Jack H. Dykes, Jere Gregory, Marten McCallisten, Albert Wells, Harvey Bynum.
