Mrs. Lessie E. Watson 
  
  Funeral services were held Thursday, Jan. 14, at 10 a.m., in the 
Barron Road Baptist Church, for Mrs. Lessie E. Watson, 60, of 
Shreveport, who died Tuesday, Jan. 9, in Guest House Nursing 
Home, after a lengthy illness. 
  
  The Rev. Jimmy Lilley, pastor of Barron Road Baptist Church, 
officiated, and graveside services were held at 1 p.m., in 
Pleasant Hill, at the Spring Ridge Cemetery. Burial is under the 
direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home. 
  
  Mrs. Watson was a native of Pleasant Hill, and a long-time 
resident of Shreveport. 
  
  She is survived by her husband; two sons, Billy R. Evans, and 
Reubin O. Evans, both of Shreveport; and nine grandchildren.
